The hotel is literally on top of a hill at the tip of a narrow strip of land extending out into the bay. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset. The rooms are a good size, comfortable bed, and with a great outdoor space. To reach the hotel you take a small boat from the mainland so coming and going requires organizing this but the staff at the hotel do this easily. The food is truly excellent and you'll almost certainly want to eat at Al Faro for all of your meals. Incredibly hospitable and professional staff. The location is also much closer to the wreck dives than Coron town and so a fantastic place to stay for diving. We would definitely stay again.

With free WiFi, this 1-star inn has a restaurant and a bar. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. It was my favourite place in the Philippines!! Excelent hotel and incredible service! Staying at La Colonial is a must if you come to El Nido!
