This accommodation is one of many reasons why I am looking forward to coming back to São Jorge. We could see that it was important to Jorge to present the place in a good light and it was indeed a very pleasant experience to be there. Everything was great and I have no regrets about choosing Cabanas da Viscondessa for our stay.

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island. the grounds and views were amazing! nicely kept hotel rooms too.

This hotel is 200 metres from the shopping area of Velas and 1 km from the harbour. It features a terrace overlooking the garden, the outdoor pool, and the Atlantic Ocean. The view was amazing. Location was excellent. Right across the street from Car Rental. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to many good restaurants and natural pool. 10 out of 10 for the staff…when we checked out at 6 am, it was raining so hard, the guy on duty at the front desk drove us to the ferry….(we had planned to walk to the ferry, and had not booked a taxi, so instead of letting us walk in the rain, we were grateful for the offer to drive us…he went above and beyond!!)

At the foot of the São Jorge Mountains, Hotel Solmar is less than 100 metres from the coastline. Its air-conditioned rooms overlook the Atlantic Ocean, Calheta Harbour or mountains. The room was clean and very spacious, equipped with an a/c which was very welcome in July. :) The location is great, close by a supermarket and restaurants. Good breakfast!

Nastanitev Varandas do Basalto je v mestu Queimada in ima razgled na gore, brezplačen WiFi ter brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. The apartment is very comfortable with plentyspace, the owner was very kind and helpful. Very well located.

Nastanitev Cantinho do Piano nudi nastanitvene enote v mestu Velas. Gostišče ima družinske sobe. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Thanks for the map with all the sights and the introduction to the island and also for the good coffee. We really enjoyed the stay at your place. We lucky to see Pico from your terrace.

Nastanitev Retiro Atlântico se nahaja v mestu Urzelina in ponuja vrt, teraso ter možnost peke na žaru. Ta razkošni šotor ponuja brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupno kuhinjo in brezplačen WiFi. I loved everything about our stay. The yurt was a one of a kind experience & it being in between all that green made it even more special. Every morning there was a fresh homemade breakfast with products they grew themselves. We got good tips for places to visit & help whenever we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone & if we ever return to São Jorge, then we will definitely book here again. Natacha, thank you for everything! It was a pleasure to be your guest.

Nastanitev Abrigo da Cascata - Casas de Campo - São Jorge se nahaja v mestu Calheta in ponuja vrt, skupni prostor za druženje, teraso, možnost peke na žaru ter razgled na morje. Beautiful setting on the sea. A truly unique escape.

Nastanitev Quinta da Magnólia AR je v mestu Urzelina in ponuja teraso ali balkon, brezplačen WiFi, TV z ravnim zaslonom, sezonski zunanji bazen ter vrt. This is a high quality beautiful location. Very convenient location, easy free parking, great breakfasts and spectacular pool.

Situada em Velas, a Casa dos Lagos - RRAL nº 2187 oferece acomodações com WiFi gratuito e um jardim com terraço e vista para o jardim. The owner was very kind to us because we didn't have the car so she picked us up in the evening after the trip by ferry so it was easy and cheap to reach the place! The house was perfect with a complete kitchen where to cook (without a car it is quite difficult to go to the city for dinner, more or less 31 minutes by walking in a street where there are only cars). Everything was perfect during our stay!
