The property features a private deck overlooking stunning sea & city views and a well equipped kitchen complete with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. A flat-screen TV is provided. Other facilities at 125 Church Bay Cabins include a barbecue.
Beautiful view, surrounded by nature, felt secluded even though the road is about 20 feet above the roof level. Noise not a problem. Good amenities.

It was beautifully kept and the room was spacious and comfortable. The host was kind and she always had a nice word to say. The breakfast was amazing, home made muffins were some of the best I’ve had. Close to town and the beach was also close and beautiful!

Woww! This hotel is beyond our expectation. The size of the lodge is small so each of the guests are being taken care very well. The rooms and views are stunning. The infinity pool is everything. The bedding is extremely comfortable, im quite surprised! Staffs are friendly and supportive

Waiheke Island Tawa Lodge offers accommodation just 300 metres from Little Oneora Beach and 1 km from Oneroa village. Overlooking Oneroa Bay, guests can enjoy an outdoor garden setting, shared BBQ facilities, free WiFi and free parking. Everything was perfect, easy to find, nice reception, great location and fantastic views, Has a great little communal garden which was great for chatting to other guests, just far enough from the main road to be quiet but easy to get to the bus stop. Very quiet beach is five minute walk, great for having a swim in the morning then gentle walk back up the hill. planning another visit next January.

Location wise -it is located nearby to the bus stop (Frank Street), which is convenient to get to the beaches, vineyard and brewery. It takes only 5mins to walk to the Little Oneroa Beach. The host- Diane is so wonderful, she got us heartful breakfast and afternoon tea with homemade muffin in the room on the balcony. Overall we love our stay at Punga Lodge :-)

Our host was great. She is an amazing cook and the morning and afternoon teas were superb. There was secure parking below the lodge. The lodge is close to beach and food outlets.

If I could give it 7 stars, I would. Dyan and Rob (who run the lodge) are amazing. Their hospitality is unmatched. Included is afternoon tea and breakfast for each day of your stay, which is homemade daily by Dyan. They really bend over backwards to make sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Will 100% be returning to Waiheke Island and specifically the Tawa or Punga Lodge again in the future.

All four of us loved the lodge. The views were stunning and the accommodation was extremely comfortable, with comfy beds, plenty of seating both indoors and out, and plentiful hot water. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and we appreciated the BBQ and made good use of it during our stay.

From the moment you arrive, you're treated like you're family, and yet, everything is still very professional. The lodge gives you a real familiar warmth that's somehow balanced with the escapism offered by getting away from it all. It's really a place of contradictions because I was both extremely relaxed and constantly on the move, checking out the long hiking trails and little towns. Hope to make it back someday, if only for the fresh baked goods every morning!

The place does not have breakfast. One has to arrive prepared. No problem as you informed. Lovely open spaced with quality furnishing lodging with stunning view from above the village on the fabolous beach of Onetangi.

The location is excellent- really close to Little Oneroa and the village. The staff at Punga Lodge are fantastic and very warm and welcoming. We had a great time.

We booked this property as the one we had originally booked was pretty disgusting and we could not stay there The Tawa Lodge was clean and very comfortable for two nights.
