High level of service, from the moment you walk in to check-out. The welcome gifts in the room were lovely. Also, the entire hotel smells really nice. Great location next to Trinidade metro, linked to the entire city but also walking distance to the centre. Breakfast buffet on the smaller side, but good quality and with interesting options like baked aubergines.

This place is located in a very nice area , in the center of Porto , on a very quit street with old buildings surrounding . Metro station is at 4-5 min walking and from that point you can be at airport in 20 minutes really easy. During my stay I " succeeded " to get sick and the staff was amazing in helping me with everything. I highly recommend it .

A very clean, efficient and centrally located hotel. Room was good size for our family of four; very clean and excellent housekeeping. Small, simple breakfast room but everything was superb and staff also. Fantastic central location with five minute walk to either Trindade or Balhao metro station. Everything you could want very close and probably a twenty minute walk to river front. The staff were wonderful - extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi for us via email before our trip and this worked perfectly. During our stay they were very helpful and approachable with all our questions and requests; they even loaned us a Portuguese/British plug adaptor for the duration of our stay (Portugal has two types of sockets - we had the wrong one!). A very happy experience at this hotel and would definitely stay here again when next in Porto.

The PortoBay Hotel Teatro is a 4-star hotel in Porto belonging to the PortoBay Group. Every single detail, especially the staff which was so helpful. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The breakfast was delicious.
