Fab dog friendly hotel in a great location in central Pitlochry. Our puppy was welcomed by all the staff and they were really thoughtful about where our room was located. It was her first time staying in a hotel and we were relieved to be in a corner of the hotel so we didn't worry about disturbing people.
The bar area is big so lots of dog friendly eating space too. Lovely food and staff. We were directly above the bar but the live music was barely audible upstairs which was great.
The room was spacious and bathroom was small but clean. The floor of the shower was non slip which was fantastic as I often get nervous in slippy hotel showers (a small point but super important to me). Good cupboard space too.
All in all, a fab visit.

Whole facility was great. Staying there was like a step back into 1980. Enjoyed the room, although a little small. Breakfast was perfect; lots of choice, fresh and well prepared. Everything one could want was available. Best breakfast we have encounter on this trio to Scotland.

All good , the only thing I would point out was the fried breakfast was slightly overcooked, but dinner was very good. Bedroom was compact but functional. No chairs in the bedroom and the television was very small. I don't like sitting on the bed to watch television, so maybe just me. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep in, good quality towels in the en-suite, and plenty shampoo, conditioner and hand cream. Wardrobe space was adequate for a nights stay.
I would certainly go again and would recommend for an overnight or weekend stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The restaurants and nightlife were excellent considering the size of Pitlochry. Reasonable range of shops, not too tacky. Found accommodation relatively expensive compared to cities ie Glasgow, Dundee and on a par with Edinburgh.

Beautiful and friendly.
Beautiful and friendly. The village is lovely with a good choice of bars, cafes and restaurants. There are great walks and excellent opportunities for cycling.
There are some interesting shops too and if you're into tweed, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I would definitely recommend Pitlochry as a place to stay.
I would definitely recommend Pitlochry as a place to stay. Its at the heart of a fantastic part of the world. Mountains, Hills, Glens, Rivers. A gateway to so much more. The town is a great base. Full of places to eat, and a suprising amount of things to do. Just go.
It is the hotel for a perfect stay. You will be greeted and welcomed personally. The room had a wonderful view of the gorgious garden, in which there was always something to watch. A stay in this hotel alone feels like a vacation. The breakfast is perfect and leaves nothing to be desired. The two hosts are wonderful; very accommodating and have good tips for things to do. Not just for Pitlochry, but for all of Scotland too. I highly recommend this hotel.
The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel is an excellent place if you are looking for a few days relaxing break as I was. Although the hotel is old, the decor is lovely. The hotel lounge area is very spacious. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of accessories, hairdryer shampoo and luxury soaps. The pool and sauna are a must on your visit. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The views from the upper floor rooms are breathtaking.
We loved our stay at the Atholl Villa Guest House. James one of the owners is great to chat with, and he gave us a lot of tips around Scotland. This B&B is on the main street so easy to walk to all the shops, and we were offered the chance to park our car there for a few hours past check-out time which helped us explore Pitlochry. The breakfast was great and the room super comfortable.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, but also very professional. The rooms (we stayed twice in two different rooms) were large, comfortable and very clean. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Hotel is located within 5 minutes' walk for Pitlochry's main street. Loads of parking. Excellent COVID security.

2. The accurate Booking.com description and you do get the Backpacker experience that is promoted.
3. Clean bedding, loos and kitchen facilities.
4. Immediate proximity to Pitlochry main street and all it has to offer.
5. Awesome walks through stunning countryside.
One of our favorite stays in Scotland. Such a nice rooms and a beautiful location. Everything within walking distance and a gorgeous town. The facility was comfortable and the beds were great and breakfast was excellent. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer.
Room was excellent. Location was perfect and close to everything in Pitlochry, which is a fun little town! Facilities were clean and the room was quiet. Breakfast was great and appreciated. Staff were very polite and fun to get to know
Beautiful guest house in perfect location close to town. We were able to park the car and walk to everything. Had dinner at The Fern Cottage and it was the best dinner we had in Scotland. Delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts.
Quaint old inn in a scenic village setting not far from the centre of Pitlochry. Friendly informal atmosphere for good quality pub food with generous portions and ale brewed on-site. Decent breakfast with good porridge. Huge bed.
Fishers hotel is located on the main street in Pitlochry, and very easy to find. It was also the pickup point for the Enchanted Forest experience, so was very convenient. The complimentary drink upon check-in was a nice touch.
the property was fantastic and in great area and extremely comfortable and the staff were all fantastic.
A great hotel to stay in in Pitlochry with fantastic rooms, service and cleanliness and very dog friendly too.
Practically everything was great. Facilities super clean, the staff nice. There were some people in the common area, so I imagine you could meet people there. Location is superb in the center of Pitlochry.
This is a great hotel for a visit to Pitlochry. Everything is within easy walking distance. Great breakfast included. Room was a decent size & had just been re-done, walk in shower - felt very spacious.
The hotel was beautiful. The owners Eunice and Gordon were so friendly and welcoming, couldn't do enough for us, when we are back in pitlochry we will stay again.
Excellent hotel grate location good atmosphere but though it was a bit expensive considering you can get a 4 or 5 star hotel with leisure facilities for cheaper
First night of arrival in Scotland. Short walk to downtown with lots of food choices. Staff kind and helpful. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast.
