They even have an elevator(lift) even if there aren't many stairs. You don't need to stay closer to Ponta Delgada as you will mostly travel by car and from CFS Azores you are 7-10 minutes away from the city center where you can eat and do stuff if you want to. It was great altogether, I 100% recommend it and would return.

I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!
