A gorgeous property in Ranthambore. The staff were incredibly helpful, our room was very comfortable and spacious and all of the meals we ate were absolutely delicious. It wasn’t sunny enough for us to use the pool but it looked lovely. Would really recommend this place.

If you're in Udaipur and want to enjoy a little heavenly Oasis, then you must stay at the Raffles! We went for a wedding so that's the main reason for staying there, but wow we were just impressed by everything. The room (spectacular), the food (delicious), the facilities (amazing), the grounds (beautiful). From the moment you are greeted to get on the boat which takes you to the island where the hotel is to the moment of checkout, the experience was amazing. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful! Highly recommend all those visiting to at least enjoy an evening or two at this palace.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was the highlight of our trip so far. The property is well taken care of, the room was nice, big and clean and stayed cold during the day even without turning the AC on. The food was exceptional, really delicious and not too spicy for non Indians. The staff was super friendly, accomodating and good English speaking. The owner booked a safari to the National park for us. It was well organised. The hotel is not at the usual pick up point for the safari, so a driver was organised to bring us to the entry gate of the park. This hotel is really for those you want to have a quite escape from the big cities and enjoy nature a little bit.

Excelente localização em zona calma e com fácil acesso a pé aos locais de interesse. Hotel com decoração cuidada, tem um ambiente muito positivo e descontraído que transmite bem-estar. Quartos espaçosos, cómodos e limpos, adorámos os detalhes tais como pinturas nas paredes e no teto e a área de estar com os assentos ao pé das janelas de vidros coloridos. A sala comum do hotel é perfeita para relaxar um pouco, com as almofadas no chão e uma variada biblioteca. Pequeno almoço servido no terraço com vista para a cidade e com diferentes opções, desde ovos cozinhados de diversas formas a tostas e cereais, entre outros, e um café com leite muito saboroso! Jantámos muito bem no restaurante também da família, na margem do lago e a poucos minutos a pé do hotel. Na segunda noite choveu bastante e entregaram-nos a comida no hotel, o que foi muito prático. No último dia ainda tínhamos algum tempo para ficar na cidade e pudemos deixar a bagagem na zona comum do hotel o que nos facilitou muito o dia. De destacar a simpatia e disponibilidade dos funcionários. Loca, o proprietário, é um jovem empreendedor, super educado e simpático, que gere o hotel com muita atenção com o bem-estar dos seus hóspedes. Deu-nos boas dicas que nos ajudaram a aproveitar ao máximo o tempo em Udaipur e mostrou-se sempre disponível para ajudar. A escolha certa para a nossa estadia, gostaríamos de ter ficado mais tempo :)

Great value. The hotel also provided eco-friendly amenities and even hired a deaf staff for cleaning supporting the disabled for a fairer sustainable world.

Situated in the middle of Lake Pichola and built in 1746, Taj Lake Palace is built with marble and features majestic architecture. This was one of the most outstanding hotels we have stayed in!! Absolutely everything was exceptional - from the stunning location on the lake, the gorgeous Palace suite, the wonderful meals in the restaurant to the outstanding staff!! The warmth, professionalism and ability to anticipate all our needs was extraordinary. We came to celebrate my birthday and all the staff already knew this was a special occasion for me and they all went the extra mile - starting from Mr Kunal at the jetty who set the stage and continued with his amazing hospitality to the boatman, the doorman, the rose petal shower (so fun!) to the birthday cake, Ms Rashmi and her colleagues at check in, the cleaning and gardening staff to all the servers in the wonderful restaurant- they made it a very special weekend!! I was so blown away and touched by the genuine hospitality. Thank you all so much!!
