If you are hesitating to book Chara's house, DO NOT. We spent 1 week there at the beginning of August. It was probably one of the most memorable places we've been. Location wise: Santorini is a really busy island so we were so glad to live in a more quiet zone. If you want to go out without the hassle of going through crowds, there is a small but very cute village (with multiple restaurant/breakfast options) just 1min walking distance. If you feel adventurous, you can take the car and visit the big cities (around 10min). There is a bus stop also walking distance next to the bakery. We took it once to go back to Fira and it was great. However, you never know when they arrive (and if they even stop at the bus stop) so going by car is the easiest option. The airport is 10min away and the shuttle was always on time. The place: Amazing amazing amazing. We were treated like princesses during the whole week. You are treated by a great breakfast (continental + a lot of greek delicacies) each morning, as well as snacks during the day. Tassoula's cuisine is just amazing and she is very thoughtful. We rented the "cave" of the house and it was splendide, decorated with taste. The bed is really confortable and the bathroom is out of this world. Our experience was also beautiful due to Chara. She was kind, thoughtful and so helpful in may ways. We couldnt rent a car for various reasons and she always took time to help us out when needed. She has such a love for the island and knows every Corner that she communicated her joy to us and we enjoyed even more our stay and the island as a whole. Whatever you need or feel, she always helped with care and sincerity. She took upon her to share her passion of the island to us, and even though I believe she has almost 6 different jobs, she was always available. To sum up, this place is perfect if you want to relax without being bothered. And if you need anything, Chara will do her best to help you.

Can’t rave about this place enough!! We were arriving at the port around 2 am and they were kind enough to send a driver to pick us up, stay later to check us in, had smiles even tho it was the middle of the night and made us feel so welcomed. Not only is it a stunning property but the rooms are amazing!! Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, but it was the best night. We had an amazing breakfast in bed and once we checked out we got to hang by the pool all day!! Thank you to the incredible staff, you guys are truly amazing. Highly recommend, it is also very close to the bus stop!

Mandilaria rooms are traditionally decorated and air conditioned. They are equipped with a TV with satellite channels, refrigerator and safety box. All studios have a furnished balcony with partial views to Aegean Sea or the village.

Cozy, clean, nice, great design. Cleaning spotless. Owner/manager is super - always available, always helpful. We had a wonderful time there. Platis (the Grill) is close and Platis Special Salad is recommended. Also makes a great kebab. Emporio Village is really close and the old town there is a must see. There you can eat at the Old Barbers Shop (is actually a restaurant) and you will not be disappointed. Find it with a GPS :)

Decided that on one night of our holiday we wanted a change of scenery so booked this …Phenomenal views, great location (3 mins walk to restaurants and bars) so very very homely, they even added a nice little surprise for my partner as it was her birthday, the roof top pool was exceptional, we never tried the inside pool, the host very kindly left us some wine and snack that was also a great little touch, if only we had found this earlier, would of definitely stayed here the full time

Kostas and Anna were amazing hosts. They were helpful with recommendations to eat (Triana tavern in Thira was my favourite) and helped to book an amazing catamaran boat trip which they managed to upgrade for us. Great location and fantastic breakfast every morning.

Amazing little hotel, quaint, charming, clean and very quiet! The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk from the village of Akrotiri with 2 little markets and a few great little restaurants and the local bus for Santorini has a stop right in front of the hotel. The area around the pool is awesome to rest and enjoy the sun! The staff is friendly and helpful! The service was professional and efficient! My room offered a great sea view, too. The rate was fair.
