The place was next to the mountains which is beautiful.
The place was next to the mountains which is beautiful. It was relatively easy to access 2 train stations by bus. The one drawback is it is far from Tokyo proper and downtown. Other than that I would definitely recommend staying here.

Hachioji is a surprisingly large urban city with several department stores within the vicinity of the JR Station. There are also several streets lined with stores & bars/restaurants.
Getting out of the city is definitely worthwhile; twenty minutes will get you to Takao-san which is a gorgeous mountain (only mildly challenging to summit if you skip the cable car & take certain trails through the woods) filled with nature & culture. Tama DobutsuKoen is one of the best zoos in Japan for space & diversity, again it is just a short journey from the city.

I consider it to be a good choice.
I consider it to be a good choice. Although far from Shinjuku, Hachioji offers tranquility, many choices for dining, shopping and mingling with the locals. Just a few miles away, you may find yourself strolling in Takiyama Forest and Takiyama Castle, Komiya Park, or even visiting Tama Zoological Park.
The location was excellent within very easy walking distance of Hachioji JR Station. I had asked about parking but never received a reply to my email. In the end, this did not matter as we chose to use public transport, but it was disappointing.
Breakfast was adequate, but not as extensive as we have enjoyed in Japan.
Our room and facilities were clean and tidy. The only isdue was the residual washing powder smell in the bed linen.
Although the room is a bit small for 2 persons, but it is clean and fhe room facilities are excellent. The hotel provides you with microwave in the room and it is indeed very useful. Convenience store like family mart and seven-11 are close to the hotel. Metro line station also very close, about 10 minutes walking. Will definitely be back once visit Tokyo again someday. Thanks
A stylish boutique hotel located about a five minute walk from the JR Hachioji station. Nice amenities including free cake, extra-small cups of Haagen-Das ice cream, and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks in the lobby. The room was compact but laid out very well with an excellent Wi-Fi connection.
very clean and the small room has everything including hair dryer, bathroom, TV.
the hotel staff (especially an elderly man) are very helpful and offered to let me store my luggage when I arrived early and when I went to claim Mt Takao early next morning after I checked out.
Friendly staff, some spoke English well
Parking for 1000yen per day possible
Good coin laundry facilities
0-5 mins walking to train tracks JR Hachioji as well as countless dining possibilities
Room was huge for Japan standards
Clean, good bathroom
We had two rooms and one was decent. The second room unfortunately had a really bad smell. it didn’t look dirty, it just had a smell almost like urine. The hotel is nice just
the smell is hard to overlook in the one room. The staff was excellent
The inn was of traditional Japanese style. We slept on futon beds on top of tatami mats. It was a wonderful way to start off our trip in Japan. It’s an experience I would highly recommend.
Excellent service, friendly staff, freshly prepared Japanese-style breakfast, and clean room make this hotel a very attractive option for business travel.
