Loved the island. Two days were not enough.
Loved the island. Two days were not enough. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys picturesque villages, great food, polite people.
Amazing churches apart from the magnificent main church in the city, don't miss Agia Pelagia in Kehrovounio. As well as village Volaka. Pyrgos was also beautiful with a nice square where you can enjoy traditional sweets like loukoumades, galactomboureko etc.
Better rent a car to see most of the island, although there is public transportation (not familiar with how frequently it runs). The streets are quite good so it's not difficult to drive even if you are not extremely confident, without traffic. The few villages we visited , had parking spaces just before entering the village which was very convenient.
In october, I was able to get quite economical accommodation and car. Although some car rental offices offer even lower prices if you book online beforehand. (At least one day earlier).
Even with high temperature, it was very windy so make sure you have appropriate clothes.

Great island, I have been many times.
Great island, I have been many times. I love the villages of the island. The food is also great.
I suggest swimming at Laouti if it is windy and everywhere else if not. Most beaches are very nice, like Kolibithra, Santa Margarita, Isternia, etc. I choose Livada, a wild beach in the North as a beach to visit, there is a 10 min. difficult road to drive to get there.
Must eat at Kalloni "Sto Theatraki", at Myrsini "Tereza", at Dyo Choria among others.
To close, a drink at Sunset View at Kardiani with a great view of Aegean sea.

The island has rugged landscape.
The island has rugged landscape. The villages are picturesque, white washed buildings, clean and tidy stonshowing the love of the locals for their island.
Great food, hidden restaurants and eateries that can surprise you on how well they are done. Bars with a view of the sunset that serve drinks and meals. The people are very friendly and willing to help. A good bus system, clean/new and fully air conditioned. Not too expensive and can find many reasonable places for each pocket. I would advise to have a car as its a distance to get to certain beaches. And to see the beautiful villages🇬🇷

Tinos town for me its lovely.
Tinos town for me its lovely.
My favorite place is the church and the nearby beaches. I eat everywhere and I have tried tavernas from other villages I have visited.
I can go back to Tinos but in the nearby area and nearby beaches to avoid the hustled curving roads. It isn't easy to go around Tinos if you don't know how to drive.

Loved the island!
Loved the island! Tinos Chora was smaller than Pariakia on Paros or the Naxos Chora. It was a bit more commercial. But we loved walking through the town and everyone we met was really friendly. We ate at 2 restaurants and the food and service was great. We hired a car from Dimitrias Rent a Car - we pre-booked and they collected us from the ferry with a little Suzuki Celerio. Painless and easy....and cheap. Would recommend them to anyone - ask for Helga.

Tinos is a charming island and just by being there I feel the blessing of virgin Mary who is helping all people who ask for her help. Don't hesitate to ask anything you need and she's the Mother of us all.
Our trip was awesome, I traveled with my baby and it was easy to find food for her and to sit at cozy restaurants /cafes while my baby was sleeping, people are very friendly
Lastly The CHEAPEST souvenirs ever of good quality. The food also is very good and at good price. Definitely I will come back.
Everything about Lithos was perfect, Antoni and the family and team at the hotel goes out of their way to make you feel at home. In one month in Greece, this was our favourite place to stay! It was our honeymoon and Nico and Antoni went above and beyond to book us the best restaurants with their contacts. The breakfast is just amazing and delicious, home made everyday. Antoni was available any time of the day, for anything we needed during our stay. The property is modern and beautiful, it makes you feel relaxed and not want to leave!
Our room was number 6. — one of the two street-level patio rooms. Despite its location, the room was very quite. The room is a loft room with a spiral ladder leading to the bed area. We found the layout to be a fun change from our previous Greek island accommodations. Everything was immaculate, and we especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.
Hotel is based in the centre of the town of Tinos. Pretty close to the cathedral church of Panagia and close to port. Really convenient in order to stroll around in the small streets and enjoy drinks and night life. Car is not needed in this case.
The staff was very kind and helpful. Sanitary conditions were fully respected during breakfast.
Great location, within 10/15 min walk to Tinos town centre. On the edge of town, set in lovely rural gardens. Excellent sea views. The host was excellent, she picked us up and then also dropped us off at the port. She was very helpful and even brought us some short bread she had baked and walnuts from the garden. Place was very clean.
Exceptional appartment, by all means, strategically located in the middle of Tinos town. Great renovation work, gteatly equipped, with a value for money price. We are a family of four, two teenage kids, and we all loved it. The host, Iakovos (Jacob), is a great guy, local Tinian, which can be of great help too.
Nicely decorated hotel and room snd super clean! Friendly staff and good breakfast. The wonderful beach club Lala Louza is only 300m down the road as well as an hourly bus into Tinos Town. Taxi into Tinos is around 9-10€ per way.
Our stay at Anthea Hotel was fabulous. The whole experience from checkin, to the room, to the hotels facilities and the staff were amazing! The cleanliness of rooms and hotel was superb. We highly recommend a stay there!
Stylish, large and super clean room looking over the ocean. Lovely breakfast menu and friendly staff who ensured we had a great holiday. A quick 10 minute walk down the road to Tinos town, would highly recommend ☺️
It is lovely hotel with a very convenient location . The coffee and the cake where a fantastic added bonus. The pick up and drop off at the port made it very convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone .
Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was very good. Great coffee and wide selection of teas. Perfect location. Air conditioning was the best of any hotel we have stayed during our two weeks in Greece.
So close to downtown with a short walk, beautiful views of the Aegean Sea. George was so nice and explained a lot to us about the island and gave us great recommendations. Highly recommended.
Personnel was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect in quiet sidewalk close to cozy restaurant street. Rooms were nice and clean. Tinos town was cozy and charming. Recommended!
