The property has an outdoor dining area. Weather was awful when we arrived. Pouring with rain and windy so it was great to have a home from home place to stay that was nice and cosy. The weather improved the following day allowing us to experience the beauty of Lake Tekapo.

Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. There was plenty of room for 2 people. We enjoyed being able to prepare our own meals. The instructions throughout the apartment were easy to understand. The washer and dryer rack were a welcome surprise.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Incredibly spacious, could host multiple families very comfortably, giant kitchen and dining space with two TV areas. Three different outdoor patio areas, we used the outdoor grill to barbecue. Very close to the shepherd church. A serene neighborhood. Probably one of my favorite accommodations of all time.

It’s a nice lodge in the cook village. Honestly speaking more cost-effective one compared to the fancy hotel. I liked the smell of their soap. The shared kitchen and common area has magnificent view of the snowy mountains! Have plenty of kitchenware and space for food in the fridge. There are quite a few parking space up front. If you staying in cook village, better bring your own ingredients for cooking or instant food. Cuz there isn’t that many place that sell food here and not many options.

It was very comfortable, very warm and very well equipped. It was in a good, quiet location, an easy walk into the village. It was great having two ensuites. It was thoughtfully appointed and had everything we needed to be very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Loved everything, very thoughtful way to accommodate guests. The host made us feel so soooo so welcome. It had everything you need, including little things like Netflix logins provided in the unit. The help was immediately available if needed. The host communicated it so so well. Beautiful 2 bed unit with all the facilities available and very close from the village shops and cafes too.

Good location just on the outskirts of Mount Cook village and east driving distance to the start of most walking tracks. The kitchen facilities were good, but unfortunately someone cooked fatty sausages on the hob and smoked out the communal areas.

The hostel is located in the center of Mt Cook Village. From there, it is easy to go to the heliport for the Tasman Glacier tours. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains, the staff's attention is good. The beds are comfortable and the heating is really good. The hostel is clean and organized.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom villa. Kitchen facilities were excellent, good size living/dining area, TV had great range of channels available. The resort location was very convenient when exploring Tekapo. Check in and check out were seamless and staff were friendly. While we only stayed for one night, this villa would have everything you needed for a longer stay.
