The house is super clean and the location is good. You get the feeling of being on the boat while walking around, but not while sleeping. The kitchen is well equipped and there are more than enough coffee and Tee provided :) The bed is comfortable and we were able to sleep very well.

The hospitality we experienced from Mieke and Dirk was exceptional. Thoughtful, caring, with a lot of attention to detail; just true hosts. Beds - comfy, perfect for a good sleep. Bathroom - good shower, good lighting, fluffy and good quality towels. Kitchen - everything that is needed and then some, coffee machine was putting a smile onto our faces in the morning. Entertainment - 2 tvs, Netflix, many language tv stations. Privacy - second to none.

What we especially liked was the large living room with the kitchen. And you can rent bicycles, there are six of them. The surrounding of the house is distinctly pleasant, you can also use the garden - in the company of hens and sheep. There were only three of us, but I can imagine a much larger group to have an excellent time in this property. And last but not least - Paulette is a fantastic host.

Nice quiet location very close to central Gouda. Easy walking to restaurants, shopping and history. The host was very nice and provided suggestions for some things to see and do around the area.

Amazing design and fantastic antiques, like staying in a museum. Where else can you have your own castle ruin to explore? The apartment was amazing, great bed, kitchen and shower. We particularly loved meeting the lady of the Manor House! Hope all goes well with her 2 grand piano recital coming up! You are an inspiration to us. It was one of those places you want to keep to yourself…. But if you’ve found it now, go book and enjoy!
