An absolutely incredible guesthouse with the most lovely hosts, and crazy good value for money. We had a beautifully decorated room, and there were several hangout spots both indoors and outdoors that you were welcome to spend time in. The breakfasts/dinners are served al fresco under a pergola overlooking the valley with rice paddies and beautiful birdsong. One of the absolute highlights was the free cooking class to make your dinner - we made 4-5 different curries with our rice and curry order, with the most delightful chef patiently waiting for us to weakly shred fresh coconut to make sambal!! About a 10-15 min tuktuk ride into town for an explore, which was very reasonably priced. I'm so glad we stayed here a bit away from the centre of town rather than in the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The hosts are also so welcoming and lovely, and speak excellent English. They also helped organise transport for us to Nuwara Eliya to our next stay. This was a genuinely edenic experience and we would absolutely come stay here again on a future visit to Sri Lanka.

Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 9.2 km from the holiday home, while Pallekele International Cricket Stadium is 11 km from the property. Victoria Reservoir Kandy Seaplane Base Airport is 20 km away. Everything is so good. The location is not exactly in the center but maybe it's better, because it's quiet. The owner is so kind and helpful and the room we got is equipped with a nice kitchen and a very spacious bathroom. AC is working well.

Situated near Pidurangala Rock and Sigiriya Museum, Roo Mansala Boutique Villas is in Sigiriya and features free private parking and a restaurant. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 3 km from Sigiriya Rock. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Such a beautiful place to stay. The rooms and the pool are amazing, as are the staff. The food is also delicious. I highly recommend eating dinner here.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can access the villa via private entrance. Very cozy homestay run by a lovely family. Standard equipment but clean. We got a juice while waiting for our room. Breakfast was with traditional hopers and rotis, the best we had during our sri lanka trip. Owners also arranged a transfer to our final destination for a better price.

The area is popular for fishing and hiking, in addition, bike hire and car hire are available at this villa. What a wonderful location ! What a wonderful man ! A very passionate cook. Takes very good care of his guests.

Located near Wildlife Range Office - Sigiriya and Sigiriya Museum, Sigiri Dilu Villa is in Sigiriya and provides free private parking and a restaurant. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. We had a clean room on the first floor. The hosts were very friendly and cooked us a very tasty rice and curry dinner. The location is very close to Sigiria and Pidurangala, we could get there by foot. Also the hosts dropped us to see sunrise on Pidurangala for free, it was very nice. Thank you for that stay 🙏

The villa is 3.8 km away from Kandy Railway Station. You can also check out Ceylon Tea Museum, 1.8 km away and Kandy's Royal Botanical Gardens, 3 km way. Bandaranaike International Airport is located 81 km from the property. Ok, if you are a self-driver and you have to arrive at night at the hotel the road is very, let's say interesting 🤔🙂 But when you get there it is paradise. Best rooms, best food, best breakfast, not only nice and polite employees but as well very professional. We have been in many hotels. This was for sure one of the top 3 in Sri Lanka. Overall I think it was our favourite hotel during all stay off the coast. Thanks for everything.
