There were plenty of extra futon cushions to make sleeping on the tatami comfortable. The sitting area upstairs had a table and chairs and also a lovely view. Downstairs was floor seating and a very low couch with many cushions and two beanbag chairs as well as a kotatsu table for warmth, though heating was adequate. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were drip coffee bags, tea, and basic condiments as well as oil. The restaurant next door was exceptional and fun!

Good to know the bed is a pull out couch (comfortable one), but in the closet there are also futons (you can prepare them yourself).
