It is located close to the train station and it is the perfect location as it is close to all main public transport possibilities which makes it easy to visit all main sites. The villa is also close to restaurants and shops (the shopping mall is close by). The house is very tidy and has all the equipment for cooking. It has a washing machine and dryer too. The futons are very comfy and we slept very well. My parents are not very young and not used to sleep in futons and they also liked it. The landlord is super nice and he cares about explaining what to visit in Kyoto and optimize your time. He is very kind and gave us some very good hints. If you go to Kyoto, you need to stay here, very recommended!
