We also received a free day pass to the little local ski field just behind the house which we really enjoyed. The additional touches left by the host were great too - local jam, apple juice, face masks and coffee.

Feels like home. Excellent for family holiday. All of us love the cottage. Surrounded by Apple trees and Sakura trees. How nice to be woken up by cuckoo birds in the morning. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Aomori again. Mr Aki was very helpful with our trip planning too.

Plus it snowed perfectly on time. A grand country home. Perfect for entertaining. Enormous library and teapot collection. My favourite thing was the “ persimmon pickers” at the door. And the persimmon were delicious.
