Cozy and peaceful, with a very calm view. The hot tub was waiting for us so we could jump right in. Very easy check in and check out, I wish it could be a little bit more private in the hot tub area, but overall it is a beautiful place.

Surrounded by peaceful, empty fields, we loved watching the migrating birds gather just outside. The silence and coziness made it so relaxing. The bed was super comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. But the best part was the hot tub – it was absolutely amazing to soak in it while the chilly air surrounded us. A truly unforgettable, serene getaway!

Toda forrada interiormente a madeira. Confortável, bem decorada, com muito gosto e cuidado. A cozinha está excelentemente equipada com uma grande quantidade de eletrodomésticos novos e funcionais, louça, talheres e acessórios de cozinha de grande qualidade e em excelente estado. Os quartos eram espaçosos e, tal como toda a casa, muito confortáveis. As camas eram também confortáveis. Tem um terraço de madeira sobre o rio com uma paisagem deslumbrante, equipado com mesa e bancos de madeira, com churrasco e hot tube (que não usámos). O wi-fi funcionava perfeitamente em toda a casa e com bons débitos. Está situada a cerca de 3 km da localidade onde é possível encontrar uma gasolineira e um minimercado. O anfitreão Robert é de uma enorme simpatia e disponibilidade (tivemos um furo num pneu e ele foi inexcedível a ajudar-nos a resolver o problema no local e até na questão da reparação em garagem. Creio que muito poucas vezes valorizei um alojamento - das várias dezenas que já reservei no Booking - com esta nota!!! O que evidencia a qualidade do alojamento. Será concerteza uma opção em visitas futuras.

Everything was wonderful. We had a very comfortable 3 night stay. The cottage and the hot tub were very clean and the kitchen was well equiped with everything we needed. The location was convenient to all the sights in the area. The shower was nice and hot and the bed was comfortable. We definitely recommend staying here.

The area is outside of Fludir but close enough to drive to restaurants and grocery store. Generally we were too tired to go out after exploring and hiking all day but thought the restaurants were great in this area. Was a large and comfortable cottage. Had everything you needed for a stay and host living nearby. Of course we made excellent use of the hot tub. Had a soak twice a day.

I stayed in the Two-Bedroom Suite House with a hot tub, and it was an incredible experience. The room is spacious, measuring 93m², and features two bathrooms and two toilets—perfect for our group of three. The property offers breathtaking views, and the room is bright and impeccably clean. The hospitality was outstanding, with every detail exceeding expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a gift of champagne and Omnom chocolate, and we received a thoughtful thank-you note upon departure. These gestures truly highlighted the exceptional service. The location is ideal, close to must-see attractions like Gullfoss waterfall, Thingvellir National Park, and the geothermal geysers. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re hoping to see the Northern Lights.
