My husband, two teenage sons, and I stayed here for 2 nights on a short trip around the West Coast of Ireland. The house had everything needed and is in a great location-just a short walk into town. Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!

We only stayed one night, but would have gladly stayed longer. It is clear that they care about their guests. They left some milk, scones in the oven, and fresh eggs. Some books and night light for my little girls. Kitchen had what we needed. They have a cot. Gave clear instructions on how to find it.

Loved the spacious bedroom and wonderfully comfortable bed, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day exploring. Kind and welcoming hosts: Rita and Michael who clearly take great pride in their lovely cottage. The location is ideal too – just a short walk into Clifden town and an ideal base for discovering the beauty of Connemara. Highly recommended.
