Sally and her husband are the best hosts with 3 beautiful dogs!! The house is huge and so beautifully decorated, we felt history in every detail. We had 2 bedrooms , each had a bathroom which is amazing and living room with kitchen. We also could use the garden and pool but unfortunately didn’t have time. I loved the apricot tree full of apricots and homemade rusks, so delicious !! Thank you for helping us with all the tips and advices where to go, what to try) we had the best dinner at Lemon house and delicious breakfast at lazy lizard.

It was amazing to stay here. Large old home with lovely views of the mountains and a veranda where you can start a fire and relax. Close to a number of superb restaurants. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Acacia Cottage is in walking distance to Prince Albert center, which is a "safe" town, but the setting with a view to grass land from the stoep gives you the feeling to stay at country side. The cottage is very comfortable, having all needed for a self-catering stay. The host is always available, very friendly and having alway helpful tips to explore the area. We can highly recommend to stay there and will be back soon!!

The kitchen is fully equipped. Ceiling fans in every room. Very nice porch and braai area. Lorna is the perfect host. She was in contact with us during the day, and she was at the property when we arrived. Will definitely return.

Oasis of comfort and quiet after a long, hot drive. Located along the main road, which is wide, lined with trees and pretty quiet - no trucks thundering through. Loved the outdoor shower and the grapevine shading the little patio. Inside, the cottage is very comfortable and pretty. There is a main house on the property with a shared swimming pool but we had plenty of privacy. Special thanks due to Elize who manages the property and tried her best to help us find a new tyre.

Without a doubt this is one of the best places my husband and l have ever stayed. Our hosts, Marina and Hans are both wonderful people who went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay memorable. The cottage is fitted out beautifully, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is simply luxurious and the location is quiet and very private while still being walking distance to the center of town. I don't often leave a comment but this place deserves special mention. Thank you Marina and Hans for making our stay simply wonderful.
