I had a beautiful vacation at the Aurora River Camp. We had one of the glass igloos facing the river and spent 4 wonderful nights there. We saw the aurora on all four nights. The igloo comes with a small kitchenette and emergency toilet. There is a really comfortable and cozy common house with a kitchen, toilet and luxurious breakfast. Tony and all the staff are super approachable and helpful. We had the sauna and barbeque at the camp which were amazing experiences. We saw a grand show of the Northern Lights on our last day there and the best part was that we could enjoy it from the warmth of our room. There are lots of fun activities at the camp and around it. I would highly recommend the Husky sledding.

Wonderful place for some lazy days. The cabin is awesome and close to lake with snowmobiles passing by. Thats so cool. Close to icehotel and kiruna city for shopping. Thanks for a couple of lovely days up here.

First of all we would like to express our gratitude for the warm welcome we received from our host Alexandre. Our stay at Lakeside Aurora Cabin is one of the most beautiful of our lives. The location on the lake was magical. In the clean and warm cottage we felt at home immediately. Enjoyed the atmospheric vibe and every evening our private sauna was fantastic. We came for the northern lights and were lucky enough to see them every evening and capture them on film. Due to the beautiful location it was super clear to see. Everything. I can only recommend staying there. The family house is the actual family house of the team behind camp Caroli and it feels right at home. It’s a dreamy cabin at the end of the road with a view directly on the frozen lake. You can’t beat this location. And don’t get me started on the northern lights. It’s the best place to see any. And we saw many! And on New Year’s Eve! Honestly we couldn’t have dreamt of a better way to start 2025. Go at Camp Caroli! The team is super nice, it’s a family run business and you can tell as they make you feel part of the family as well. All the activities are wonderful and well organized. Just pure polar bliss. The house is warm and comfortable. Even by minus 25 which is the temp we got when we were there. The kitchen is big and nice to cook in. And the bathroom has all you need. Just a perfect place really.

The stay in the apartment was terrific. The hosts were very nice and attentive to the application chat. We could order breakfast and activities at the very last minute. In addition, they were honest about the activities and gave their opinion on how worthwhile it was to do the tour with them. They recommended not to do it as they could not ensure we would see the north lights that day and suggested doing it the day after as the chances were higher. Finally, we could make it and see the aurora. They took great professional pictures attached. We would repeat the experience. And even if you cannot book the accommodation with them, I would recommend passing by the shop and asking for the tours.

This stay was a super remote one which doesn't even pop up on a map unless you have the shared GPS coordinates. A cozy cabin with an incredible lake view was all we could ask for. Most importantly, given how remote the accomodation is, we had Stefan who drove us from the main camp to our lodge, and from the lodge to the airport. At every point, he ensured we had all the information we need to make our stay comfortable and memorable. He was also very friendly and very knowledgeable. A big shout-out to Stefan to making our stay a memorable one. The property is incredible and given how remote it is, it is a great space to switch off and enjoy the serenity of mother nature.

The cabin is a cozy beautiful house in the nature, just over the lake. The location is very convenient, not far from Kiruna but already out of the view of the city and the mine. Fredrik is a great guest! Very glad to had the chance to meet him!
