Everything! Renate is the best host I've ever had in all my years of travelling. Always very responsive to messages, she is thoughtful and helpful and always puts our needs first. She went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and enhanced our Tromsø experience. The House looks exactly like the photo on booking.com. We had lots of fun with snow just outside the house, including snow sledding! Both the House and the host are charming 😀 We were blessed to see lots of northern lights during our stay. The House is near to the Tromsø Lapland where we had an amazing reindeer sledding experience. I will definitely recommend this House to anyone who loves nature and the aurora borealis. We had our best time in Tromsø in this House!

Best part is the location right next to a fjord with beautiful view of the Lyngen alps. From the house various day trips can be done to Tromso, hiking in Blåisvattnet etc. Also a walk to the tip of the peninsula is spectacular as the views open up to all directions! The house was cozy and good size - our kids especially loved the movie and play room downstairs with huge projection screen. Hot tub on the terrace was also very well worth the extra cost.

The apartment is at a wonderful location right at the center of Lyngseidet. We booked the apartment with a short notice for a week and everything went great. We got a tour of the apartment by the host, Frode. He was really helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and cozy with amazing views. 10/10.

this is the best place to stay on the lungen. this is the first time I've seen such a well-equipped cabin. special thanks to the owner for sharp knives!😀 The kitchen has everything you need to cook any food! despite the proximity of the road it is not audible. neighbors live far away. we rested with dogs and no one was disturbed as well as us. the ferry pier in Tromso is 3 km away. we will definitely come back! Wonderful friendly hosts who were happy for us to light a nice fire and wait for the northern lights to arrive. This was my second stay at the property. It’s so warm, cosy and has all the amenities you need. It is in a great spot on the coast and has wonderful views from every direction.

Really cozy place to stay in a stunning location. Slettvold is really special. We were so well looked after. The living space, including brand new kitchen was an excellent base for snowy adventures. We can’t wait to go back in the summer.

Wonderful property and outdoor area, we loved siting outside with the fire pit looking out to the beautiful views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. We even got to see reindeers strolling by from the kitchen window and the northern lights from the garden at night, which was truly magical. Great amenities, everything you need to feel at home and super easy to get to from the ferry, only a few minutes down the road, and great location for exploring this beautiful part of Norway.

The house is large and has a spacious wrap-around terrace overlooking the fjord. It is fully equipped, clean and comfortable. We stayed for 9 nights and explored the local area, as well as Tromsø, Blåisvatnet and Russelv. We enjoyed hiking, both from the house and further afield, using a car to travel around. The communication with the owner was very good.
