Little oasis inmiddle of the jungle. Calm and relaxed atmosphere, extremely kind and helpful staff. Relaxing in and around the pool after a hot day of visiting Dambulla or Sigiriya felt like paradise. Our villa was in excellent condition and we all slept very well in the cosy beds. The villa is a great place and with all the facilities you can think of, we were there to go to Pidurangala rock, plus the hosts are super friendly and helpful, they were helping us with everything both inside and outside the villa, they also provided transportation to the rock and were attentive to us during our stay, without a doubt a great villa, clean and comfortable.

If we could give an 11 we would! Very clean, view is phenomenal & Lalantha & his family were fabulous hosts. So helpful, shared their hospitality and their knowledge of the area. Birdwatching with a view of Lion Rock is a wonderful experience. The food is delicious, breakfasts are generous & tasty. If you have the option of the dinner - take it! 9 curries, the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. Lalantha showed us lakes at sunset which were great for birdwatching. He also arranged our transport to Polunuwara & onwards to Kandy. He also provides tuk tuk service into town. I must also mention Lalantha’s assistance with helping me with internet & wifi for a very important meeting.

One of the most beautiful places we stayed on sri lanka. Located in the jungle this beautiful house is an oasis of peace. Style and decoration outstanding and the housekeepers are so sweet! They provided breakfast and dinner in sri lankan style and were so welcoming. On the last day we got to meet the owner and had interesting conversations. This is a personal recommendation!

The location was perfect. The villa is In a quiet area but an easy 5 mins walk along the road to a good selection of restaurants. The villa/rooms are also spotlessly clean. Amazing hosts.

Gunnar is a fantastic host! He helped us organize tours and even personally drove us to Kandy. Despite this, we never felt pressured or like he was trying to sell us something—quite the opposite. We had engaging and enjoyable conversations with him. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the rooms look exactly like they do in the pictures. The concept of the open bathroom is beautiful, and even without a mosquito net over the bed in our room, there were no mosquitoes inside. The pool is large, clean, and even has a baby area for small children. Highly recommended!
