It’s so peaceful and calming, right on the lake. Micheal the owner checked on us now and then as we were 5 females aged 16-65 on our own we really appreciated that !Lovely kind man! It was large, clean and really well equiped. We were met by Hazel , she was so sweet and had the cottage heated and welcoming, even a nice welcome cake.

We were on a short break with young children and this house was great. It had all the amenities we could need for a really comfortable and cosy stay. The toiletries and hot drinks supplies were a welcome touch and the beds were very comfortable. Nicely decorated, while still retaining the old world feeling of the original farmhouse.

Lovely, really clean, comfortable cottage in a peaceful location. Great to have a real fire and very comfy bed. Had everything you could need and lovely, friendly host. Padraig was great at keeping in touch and the house itself was wonderful, modern, clean and in a beautiful location. Overall a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Enjoy! Lovely deer in and around the garden too if you're lucky.
