For us, it was a unique opportunity to experience a truly authentic stay in the middle of an old olive tree plantation. The accommodation oozes rustic charm while remaining very comfortable (with AC), and the owners have thought of every detail — the place is extremely well equipped. Privacy was excellent we had the whole property for ourselves), and being surrounded by Cretan nature really helped us unwind and relax. Communication with the owners was great, and they kindly welcomed us with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit.

From arrival and the drive towards the villa you knew you would be in for a treat, what a location and view for the villa! Just stunning sunsets , tranquil and serenity in stylish accommodation. Nikos is most friendly and very thorough on the villa rules. Warm welcome with local treats and some home baked goods on different morning. Always on hand to help with anything, just great communication from host. The villa is only 5-10mins drive to a very lovely beach with a great strip of restaurants with the perfect holiday vibe, also close enough to travel to kissamos to visit the famous beaches, just the most perfect base for Crete.

Beautiful decor, so clean and tidy. Lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay lovely. Lovely swimming pool and outdoor area, attention to detail is so appreciated. The BBQ is great. Having two bathrooms is so lovely and fresh towels after 2 days was a treat.

We wish we could stay forever at this amazing house! The garden was filled with olive trees, there was an old well and two diferent areas to seat for dinner and breakfast or just to relax. Inside beds, sofas, kitchen items... were new. Nektarios was always accessible, he sent us many local restaurants, beaches and places to visit. He even sent info of a concert at the village which we enjoyed. Perfect house to escape from crowds whilst being well located to explore the west and center parts of Crete.

The villa is much larger than the pictures make out, it’s very peaceful, it was clean and has been well maintained. Anna’s communication was great from start to finish. A week wasn’t enough I wish we could have stayed longer. We found so many amazing beaches just 15 mins drive with lots of tavernas with great food, I loved this villa so much it was perfect for myself my partner and my two kids. We would definitely recommend to book this villa.

The house looks exactly like in the pictures, the owners prepared a very warm welcome for us and helped us with any indication or information we needed. The view is spectacular, and also the atmosphere in the evening in the yard, by the old tree. We had a wonderful staying, it's a dream house!

    Owner was really nice and I really appreciate that. You have everything you need in this house. Pool is a bit small but is perfect for a refreshment. They have two villas, next one has a bigger pool and the owner made a upgrade so we used the big pool :)

    I have never been such a beautiful villa before. The heated pool, the facilities, the comfortable beds, the calm, the view. I could continue listing everything of how it was superb. Manouela, the host and her husband Vardis have been wonderful and bring some much extra attention when we arrived. Manouela welcomed us very late at night, made us some traditional food and even purchased milk for our baby, everything was ready and we didn't have to worry about anything. This is a spectacular villa!

    The property is such a pretty house with excellent facilities- everything is there for a great stay - the house is in a quiet location on the edge of the village with east access to the main highway - we hired a car from Chania airport and the house was east to find - we lived everything about the house - it was clean and well equipped.

    Villa Domenico and the surrounding olive grove and mountains are stunning - exactly like in the pictures. Spyros and Joanna were the perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The pool and terrace were the highlight of the stay. Everything was perfect, we just wish we could have stayed longer!

    Villa Vardis is a new, modern, clean and comfy house with a wonderful view! It is very quiet and the terrace is beautiful, you can see the ancient town of Vafes, the mountains until the Sea! It is a really relaxing place. The house has all you need for a perfect holiday. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The best is the host Manouela, who is very kind and reactive. We loved her Moussaka and cake! Efcharisto poli 🤗

    We spent a week with our young adult children at this beautiful villa in a charming village. It was immaculately clean, comfortable, well equipped and true to the photos. The scenery is spectacular and the villa offers amazing views. The owners are attentive to their guests in every way, left some lovely Cretan delicacies and went to lengths to ensure their guests enjoyed their holiday. We would return in a heartbeat and would highly recommend Villa Vardis!

    The Villa was really spacious and clean. The pool and outdoor area was fabulous. George the host was amazing, really friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much, we even got a home cooked Greek meal.
