Our stay in the Faroe Islands was unforgettable, mostly thanks to this accommodation. The house is truly homely, authentic and perfectly integrated into the surroundings – we felt like part of the local story. We had a great stay at the house in Tørshavn. It is a very spacious house, we all had our own bedroom and everything we needed was there. Is it a bit rustic? Yes, but that fits the age of the house. Restaurants and stores are all within walking distance. We highly recommend this place to stay while you are in the Faroes. Thanks, Barbara for you hospitality!

The location has stunning views, home was clean and well stocked. Gunnar was excellent at communicating with us (we arrived during the May 2024 labour strike). We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely go back.

A warmly-decorated comfortable home, on a residential street conveniently located near a grocery store, and a fairly short drive from airport - but not so near that you feel like you are living at Heathrow. We had everything we needed, and some extra thoughtful touches that we did not expect. We are flexible, easy-going travelers that do not hold unreasonably high expectations wherever we go,...still, we were very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable we felt there. Meeting the owner was a bonus, and we loved hearing about how it truly is a family home. We heartily recommend this property.
