I liked every bit of the lodge, from the kindness of the staff to the view from the deck and our room (number 5), the sightings of parrots, monkeys and kinkajous (at night) as well as the frogs, the arboreal crabs and so on. The food was perfect and the place is close to the major beaches and attractions of the area (you need a car of course). And of course, we loved to pet the cute home dog Lafayette and the cats!

Have spent 3 weeks travelling throughout CR staying in 7 different lodgings from Thermal Spa Resorts in Arenal to simple rooms in Corcovado NP - and this was our standout place. Beautiful tranquil paradise -staying in a cabinas in the perfect garden of Johanna and Alain was a joy. Amazing dawns with birdsong monkeys and mist rising off the rainforest surrounding us. Great location close to Ojochal with its lovely small set of bars restaurants delis and supermarket.

The property has been renovated over the last few years and it looks wonderful! The owner has made upgrades such as a yoga deck, outdoor workspaces, a games area and a lounge . The pool is located in a beautiful setting with evening lighting, gazebo and lounge chairs on the deck. The pool is well kept and clean. The villas are very nice and clean, with outdoor patios and kitchens. All the staff are excellent, in particular Casey (owner), Helder (manager), Kenneth and Carlos are extremely friendly and always offering to help you in any way they can. Helder is always available to answer questions, help with information on local attractions and address any concerns. The property has a beautiful setting and we always felt safe and comfortable.

Everything was perfect. We had 2 amazing days in Uvita. Excellent contact with the host. The house is brand new, fully equipped. Excellent equipment in the kitchen. Barbecue area. A place on the terrace overlooking the forest, where you can eat peacefully. Comfortable and large bed. Excellent internet connection. Very clean and functional bathroom. The neighborhood is quiet, you can only hear birds (hummingbirds, parrots and toucans). Fantastic pool, hammock and plenty of space where you can relax. No problem to find restaurants and eat in the area. To the beach quite close about 10 minutes walk. We also used the laundry service (fast and inexpensive - we recommend).
