The hosts were super friendly and always had great tips on things to do. The room was very nicely furnished and clean. The terrace and the restaurant were beautifully decorated for Christmas. We felt very comfortable here and would highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Uvita. Thank you so much for that!

Have spent 3 weeks travelling throughout CR staying in 7 different lodgings from Thermal Spa Resorts in Arenal to simple rooms in Corcovado NP - and this was our standout place. Beautiful tranquil paradise -staying in a cabinas in the perfect garden of Johanna and Alain was a joy. Amazing dawns with birdsong monkeys and mist rising off the rainforest surrounding us. Great location close to Ojochal with its lovely small set of bars restaurants delis and supermarket.

Nice large outdoor kitchen, sound of birds, the villas are separated by beautiful gardens, pool was great, quiet property, I don't think the restaurant/ bar were open but a very cool set up when it does. When you book you get an email full of great recommendations and a hard copy when you arrive. I actually think a Sedan would make it up the road, not as treacherous as many of the Costa Rican roads I've been on. What I like most of all was that Casey the owner and Helder the manager really helped us out above and beyond and because of that we enjoyed the end of our vacation way more than we could have ever expected.

Amazing Stay at Casa Rucca – Highly Recommended! Casa Rucca in Playa Hermosa, Uvita is an absolute gem! The accommodation is beautiful—modern, new, and incredibly cozy, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect blend of style and function, making it feel like a home away from home. Amazing shower with good pressure and hot water. The host was fantastic—super communicative and always ready to help with anything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the balcony—from there, we had the most amazing view and saw countless toucans, exotic birds, and even monkeys! It felt like we were living in the heart of nature. I would definitely recommend Casa Rucca to anyone visiting Uvita. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica! Highly recommended! Would come again for sure.

    Villas en el Bosque is a small piece of paradise on the pacific coast, perfect to stay if you want to be close to Uvita but with more nature around you, lovely people, delicious breakfast, beautiful ocean view. The service and hospitality was very good, we really felt welcome and at home with a very relaxed vibe

    The villas were clean, bright and welcoming. Vanessa and Nicholas, who run the hotel, were kind and so so helpful. The breakfast made by Steven was delicious- every day! The location was perfect- nestled in the jungle and close to beaches. Monkeys, a cute dog named Lafayette and a cute cat named Frida were often seen running, sleeping or eating. It was heaven.

    This place is so beautiful and well appointed! It's comfortable and cute. Its lush. Its clean. Its undestated luxury. it's affordable! It's built into a hill and the flow of the villas climbing up the hill gathered around the sea salt pool is picturesque. I loooooved it! And the have a cat named scarlet who hangs out with you.
