Loved our stay here. We were able to check in early and they stored our luggage for us after check out so that we could stay until the afternoon. Kitchen is pretty well equipped, bungalows are clean and get daily housekeeping which was appreciated. We also rented a scooter for a day for a reasonable price. Beautiful beach and sunsets with some kayaks to explore the surroundings.

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Poerani Moorea is a small property with a house (villa) and 3 bungalows, on a narrow deep lot on the lagoon side of the road. We stayed in the Villa, literally steps from the water. House, including kitchen and bath, spacious and very nice, the outdoor dining, sunbathing, and water access even better. The lagoon was terrific for snorkeling and kayaking. All we wanted for our short stay. We only stayed a few days, so didn't rent a car which was fine with grocery store and (excellent) pizza restaurant within short walking distance. Next time we stay longer, rent a car, and explore Moorea more.

Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The facilities are beautiful and the breakfast was great, for a good price. Very close to lovely hiking trails, which was what we were after.
