It was a great experience for me and my family. We stayed there for one night and we wish to stay there at least 2 nights. The host was a great person and so kind. The place was super clean the room has private toilet but for bath you need to reserve the onsen in the facility for private use. We were late to reserve the bath for our use so that we missed the experience of onsen. May be next time. The location is little bit away from the lake but this is a big plus. 10 minute walk from lake to the place was great experience especially at night. In such a safe country and such a safe area, it was great to walk with my family. We saw male and female deers at night. We saw hawks . In the morning when our son opened the window he said there is a mountain. Then i looked and it was Fuji. We forgot the room has fuji view. The breakfast and the coffe was nice and enough for us. We enjoyed the stay there and recommend to anybody who reads this comment

Ubicado en Fujikawaguchiko, dentro de una distancia de 18 km de Lake Kawaguchi y a 18 km de Fuji-Q Highland, Shoji Lake Hotel tiene hospedaje con una terraza y WiFi gratis en toda la propiedad, así... el servicio fue increíble desde que bajamos del autobus ya que al estar ahí mismo el hotel, nos recibieron en cuanto bajamos. nos tomaron las maletas, nos sirvieron de tomar y nos explicaron lo que necesitábamos saber sobre los servicios del ryokan y las probabilidades de ver el famoso "fuji invertido". tomamos nuestras yukata y al llegar al cuarto ya estaban nuestras maletas. el lugar es muy tradicional y la vista era espectacular. fue divertido poder usar las mesas de ping pong, el sauna y baño al aire libre y el observatorio. la siguiente mañana nos ofrecieron más te en lo que esperábamos el bus, incluso nos avisaron que el bus se había atrasado y se ofrecieron a tomarnos fotos. en todo momento fueron increíblemente amables y atentos.

Hiromi was the most warm & welcoming host, along with her family. She even prepared some phrases As Gaeilge to welcome me! The rooms are typical ryoken style with tatami flooring, shoji doors and a comfortable futon for sleeping. Each room has a view of Mt Fuji if you are lucky to see her like I was. There is an onsen for bathing and they provide a yukata robe to wear. The location is nearby to the hop-on/hop-off bus and right beside lake Kawaguchiko which was the perfect place for photographing Mt Fuji unobstructed. The breakfast spread was amazing traditional Japanese style and they gave me a lift back to the station after check-out. I loved every element of my stay!
