Each year we travel to Japan, trying to discover a new city or region. This time it was Nagoya. Since we didn't know this city at all, it was very helpful to receive a message from Mikiko telling us how to reach the Samurai house III from the train station. As soon as we emerged from the taxi, we were welcomed by Mikiko's staff. Everyone was very friendly and we had immediately the feeling to be at home. All the available equipment was shown to us and we were also told how to use everything. The house is really beautiful, with a superb interior design and a great attention to details. We've been traveling accros Japan for the last 15 years and Samurai Housse III is certainly the most beautiful and confortable accommodation we had the opportunity to stay in. The house is not far from a subway station, several konbini, restaurants and a very nice supermarket. Mikiko was always available to help us and answered all our requests very quickly. The next time we travel to Nagoya, we will most certainly stay again at Samurai House III. Thanks to Mikiko and her staff we were able to fully enjoy our stay in Nagoya. We are a family of five and had the floor to ourselves, the neighbourhood is quiet so it’s a great place to relax for a leisure trip. The couple who owns the inn are very sweet and friendly. We were provided great tea and even a kitchen to cook in. There was even little samurai trinkets around the area, including traditional attire for us to wear and take pictures with. For anyone with a little creative side, there is a book provided at the counter to write about your experiences and draw any doodles.

You must have dinner and breakfast as a part of your reservation. The onsens were really wonderful! There were private and public ones on-site and another large public onsen across the street. The mountain location is about 25 min drive away from the train station, but they run a shuttle service from the Fujigaoka Train Station at 4:50pm every day. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Ghibli Park was a 15 minute shuttle ride.

The staff were lovely and accommodating, the hotel has more than the standard facilities and the parking is free

Bien establecido en Nagoya, Travelodge Nagoya Sakae tiene desayuno buffet y WiFi gratis en toda la propiedad. Este hotel de 3 estrellas ofrece una recepción abierta las 24 horas y guardaequipaje. El desayuno buffet fue muy rico y completo. La habitación era grande y cómoda, nos encanto la decoración de las paredes que decían Nagoya o tenían imágenes del Castillo. El hotel esta a unas 6 cuadras aprox de la zona comercial de Sakae. También se puede caminar más y llegas al Shopping Parco. Hay Pokémon Center, Jump Store, Bookoff Bazar, Don Quijote, etc. Volveria a elegirlo como base para mi próximo viaje. Nagoya nos encantó.
