In over 20 years of international travel, Hotel Lis would be the best 3 star hotel we have ever stayed in BY FAR because: the rooms are sunny, lookout onto a park, and have recently been refurbished: Katarina and Andrea are incredibly attentive hosts, who every morning hover over the fantastic breakfast service (beware the allure of their freshly baked cakes) to ensure your needs and desires are being met: the housekeeping staff do a detailed clean every day, when they also replenished our fruit/chocolate basket: there is free street parking outside the front door: the rooms are really quiet. This family run Hotel and its staff just makes you feel so at home and welcome. Its a long way from New Zealand, but next year we are going to return - and for longer than this trips 7 day stay. And I should mention the very tasty bottle of local red wine that was waiting for us in our room.

It is part of the Crocetta neighbourhood which is quiet and tree-lined and perfect for an afternoon walk. The hotel is also walking distance to the train station and main centre shopping district. Liberty Hotel also has beautiful vintage decor and one feels like they are going back in time. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! Stefano was also very kind to let us store our luggage for several hours after our check-out, allowing us to travel to the airport at a later time while we ran errands in the city. We thank him for his wonderful hospitality. Liberty hotel will be our only choice of accommodation when we need to spend the night in Turin.
