We received a very warm welcome - being picked up by the hotel. The check-in was very thorough and we were told how to navigate the island - even being given bus tickets for free. It’s located on the hillside which makes for amazing views when taking a dip in the pool. The hotel also had a sauna and jacuzzi, and offered a lot of cozy places for sitting down, having a drink/coffee and was very accessible from two roads. I could not recommend this place enough! Hidden gem!

The property is around 200 metres from Maronti Beach, 3.5 km from Sorgeto Hot Spring Bay and 1.6 km from Cavascura Hot Springs. The hotel also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. The views from the terrace where you have breakfast and dinner is also served were glorious. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful yoghurt seeds and fruit selection as well pastries. Coffee was served and delicious. Most importantly Romaldo Carmella and Adella were the most caring genuine and hospitable hosts. We felt at home.

Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. The wonderful family that runs this gorgeous hotel were all very accommodating! They provided us with amazing recommendations that led us to the best meals we had our entire trip, for example their family restaurant called “Emanuel” and another restaurant in Forio called “Ristorante Da Ciccio”. The room is a nice size with an amazing balcony view of the ocean. The A/C also works great! I do recommend renting a scooter to get around town as there are a lot of hills and this hotel is close to Sant Angelo which is a very popular spot. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Set 2 km from the centre of Forio, on the island of Ischia, Hotel Villa Cimmentorosso offers rooms with a hydromassage shower and sea-view balcony. This property also features a summer outdoor pool with hydromassage jets, and a garden. Villa simentorrosso is a very special place. To start with basic information, cleanliness is 10/10 service 10/10, comfortability 10/10, location 10/10. View 10/10. If you have time to read the rest of my experience it’s below. It’s not just a place to sleep in but rather to experience. This accommodation is filled with lots of love from the family running it. I never stay In my hotels when I travel but this place has so much Italian energy that it makes you settle in comfortably. The place is surrounded by lots of vegetables like tomato, zucchini, fruits and they serve them for breakfast, from home made jams, and omg the best tomato I ever had in my life! Sun sets are really really nice from there. Balcony or pool area or directly from your room. The only hesitation I have is I didn’t stay here for 7 days to fully immerse in this wonderful place. Highly recommended and it should be a stop for everyone who wants to experience a true italian hospitality. 10/10

Featuring a panoramic swimming pool and terrace with views of the Aragonese Castle, the Don Felipe is on a hillside on Ischia Island, overlooking Cartaromana Bay. It offers a restaurant and rooms with a balcony. Very good value for money, staff is really nice and helpful with everything, room was very clean, there’s a pool, bus stop is just outside the hotel, the view is spectacular, having dinner on the terrace was my favorite part + there’s a cat
