Country Hotel Hali has rooms with a private bathroom and a work desk. It was the best of our lodging in Iceland. The host, the food in the restaurant and the view, everything were perfect. it was really a great surprise.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Scenic views and local cuisine can be enjoyed in the on-site restaurant, which is open during the summer season. We got an upgrade, instead of shared bathroom we got a room with own bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Great beds. In room was also little cattle with Tea or Coffe.
