Quando chegámos, as 17h, a cozinha ia fechar e nao seria possivel jantar. é certo que nos podiam ter avisado previamente, mas rapidamente nos procuraram alternativas nas redondezas e fizeram a reserva da mesa por nós. o pub é mesmo muito charmoso e acolhedor. a Tv é uma smart TV o que é um bonus para ver uma serie a noite.

Of all the places we stayed on our trip through England & Scotland, The Limes was our very favorite !! It is an absolutely charming B & B from the minute you walk through the iron gate, through the most beautiful garden you have ever seen to your own accommodations that are immaculate, so quiet, very cozy with a comfortable bed. The Limes is owned by two beautiful people who are so delightful, their lovely daughter and wonderful dog. You can relax in the secret garden to enjoy nature to the fullest or in a beautifully decorated private sitting room with a fireplace. The darling breakfast room overlooks the garden and a wonderful breakfast is made to your order. You are just a short walk from one of the prettiest towns in The Cottwalds. If we are lucky enough to get back to England, this is where we will stay !! Certainly will recommend it to our friends ! !

The stylish and friendly Priory Inn is a privately-owned hotel and restaurant, just a few minutes' walk from Tetbury's shops and a 5-minute drive from the National Arboretum at Westonbirt. Charming from the first second we entered. Easy parking which helps after a long journey. Rob was outstanding help as we were trying to navigate where to eat that evening and he found room in the restaurant for us very last minute . Rooms comfy. We had family room which had large bedroom for my two daughters and I had comfortable sofa bed in the living room. Generous selection of coffee teas and biscuits in the room. Only stayed for one evening but we will be back!

The main building of the hotel has a lot of character and the bar and restaurant within too.

Set in Stow on the Wold, The Kings Arms Hotel features a bar. Both free WiFi and private parking are available at this property. At the hotel, all rooms include a TV and seating area. Everything about The Kings Arms was fabulous. Our greeting upon checkin was great. Entering our room on the top floor was stunning. We were advised that a steep set of stairs would be required to get to our room but that did not deter us. Our room was simply splendid. We ate dinner here and their traditional Sunday roast was like eating at Grandmas. Mouth watering roast and Yorkshire pudding will definitely satisfy your palate. The town is like a Dickens Village - you’ll feel like you’re back in the 1700’s walking around taking in the historic buildings and shops. Breakfast was again fabulous with a traditional English style menu. I would highly recommend staying here.
