We stayed two nights end of November and booked a spacious quadruple room on the 3rd floor, which had a mountain view and side view on the castle. Everything was perfect: 1) Very close to the center of the village (there are only a few hotels in such proximity to Gruyeres and Hotel de Gruyeres is the most affordable); 2) hotel is located on the hill, so you do not have to go up from public parking P1, P2 or P3; 3) private parking with 9 places and a couple of places for motorbikes (free of charge); 4) if private parking is full, the car can be parked on P1, P2 or P3 for 10 CHF per day or free of charge between 18:00 and 8:00; 5) room is equipped with a fridge, kettle, safe; 6) fabulous fresh breakfast with a lot of choices; 7) very friendly ladies on reception; 8) wellness center with sauna and hammam (can be booked and ready for use in one hour of heating) and small gym (well equipped); 9) restaurant with a terrace outside with an amazing view; 10) 5 min to the cheese factory and 15 min to chocolate factory by car.

Room was spatious and clean. It was a little bit weird that the shower is in the room not separatly, but we know that. Beds were comfortable.

Hotel Jäger Jeuss - Murten - Self-Check-in está situado en Jeuss, dentro de una distancia de 32 km de Berne Railway Station y a 32 km de University of Bern. It's a nice hotel a bit outside of Murten in a very small village. The room was great and very quiet. There is also a 'kitchen area' with a fridge and a microwave. There was a mix up with our payment - probably because of a system issue - they responded quickly (we were able to reach someone from their team immediately - via the phone number provided in the 'reception area' - and were helped at once).
