But the best places for dining out to us were on the waterfront close to Canada Place; about a 20-25 minute walk away.

I booked Gage Suites at UBC because I got a really good rate from Booking.com. Figured the distance from downtown didn’t matter as I would be out on tours the whole day. It’s perfect! Loved the university ambiance too. Staff were excellent.

The room and close proximity to everything we wanted to do in Abbotsford. Breakfast was good and easy to access within the building. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had lots of space that made it very comfortable.

An on-site launderette is featured. A refrigerator is included in all rooms. Not the largest, but spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly located in downtown Vancouver — thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The receptionist who checked me in — a Canadian lady working at the front desk around 12 p.m. — was exceptionally friendly and considerate. I truly appreciated her support.
