I thought the manager Andrew was exceptional and so friendly going out of his way to welcome us. Even on check in Andrew let us in a just a little early to accommodate my elderly sister who was not feeling well. Then checked in on us later to see if we were okay. This is so rare these days so thank you Andrew for your kindness. My sister appreciated it so she could rest her sore back from the long car ride. The hotel is really new, beds were so comfortable and the shower pressure better than most hotels.Everyone was lucky to get a restful sleep. It is a quiet hotel despite being near the highway. We went to On the Border for dinner and the food was delicious. Lots of choices around there for lunch or dinner. Next day I met a Harlem Globetrotter Irwin and he took a picture of me in front of their bus. That was exciting. Irwin was six foot nine inches tall and so polite. The breakfast consisted of all the normal things to eat and they have a pancake machine. I liked how they have fruit for breakfast and yoghurt so different preferences to pick.

The breakfast was OK but there was confusion with my Booking.com reservation that included prepaid breakfast - for some reason the restaurant refused to give me a full Starbucks coffee and would only give me a small number of items from the menu even though I had prepaid $20 per day for breakfast. They were happy to make one item (breakfast roll) that costs $11 but would not prepare a different item (french toast) that costs the same. And I had to go to front desk twice to make sure my credits were visible to the restaurant staff. It would be nice if this process were smoother.
