My recent stay at The Tea Bungalow in Norwood, Hatton, Sri Lanka, was an experience I'll cherish forever. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, setting the tone for a memorable visit. Equally commendable were the culinary delights prepared by Cook Mahendran and Fernando. Despite the rest of the staff being on public holidays, they managed to provide us with an array of delicious meals that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Their skill and dedication were evident in every dish they served. But what truly makes The Tea Bungalow a magical place is its location in Norwood. The natural beauty and serene atmosphere of this area are unparalleled. It's a place where one can truly relax and reconnect with nature. The landscapes, the calmness, and the overall ambiance of Norwood are what makes it the best place I've visited in Ceylon so far. The room had a great view, very comfy bed and it was pretty clean. Plus, I could enjoy some amazing scenery from the windows and the terrace. The family was lovely, too and they spoke decent English. This is actually a perfect place to stay if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya. The Train View is in Nanu Oya, right at the train station (but don't worry, Nanu Oya is a small and sweet place so it's too noisy there or something) and Nanu Oya is about 20 mins from Nuwara Eliya (you can take the local bus and the bus ride is really scenic). I also liked that there were plenty of local restaurants around.
