It was a beautiful site, just what we needed after a long stay in Tokyo. The rooms are beautiful, the attention to detail is great and there's pizza place nearby and the sparklers were a must. The extra blankets were needed even in the thick of summer.

The location is perfect for exploring the area around Mt. Fuji, with easy access to Honcho old town, Lake Kawaguchi, and the beautiful Kitaguchi Sengen Jinja Shrine surrounded by tall ancient trees. The room was clean and comfortable, and I loved being able to see Mt. Fuji right from my window. A calm and relaxing place to stay.

Kagelow is one of the most stunning hostels I have stayed at. It is immaculately clean and the facilities are lush! There is an onsite restaurant and bar and the hostels outfit is beautiful. I stayed in both the hostel dorm rooms and also the private hostel rooms, both were exceptional! Highly recommend for solo and group travellers if you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere!

It is not just a hotel, it is an experience. One of the best things we did in Japan. Authentic food, amazing view, and authentic Japanese hospitality. Be aware that if you are a couple, you will need to enjoy the onsen separately. However, there is also a bath in the room.

There is also free shuttle bus in the morning. Breakfast is extremely generous, with a large variety of traditional dishes. The sashimi was particularly fresh. Perfect Japanese living style experience while enjoying the picturesque surroundings & tasty breakfast.
