Best place to stay on the Eolian Islands!! The hotel is cute, very aesthetic, everything has a history but has been renovated. You have a beautiful view from your room and their garden is beautiful also. I recommend testing their restaurant, we had a lovely dinner and everything was super tasty. Great selection of eolian wines.

We just spent a fantastic holiday in Canneto at hotel Odissea. La signora Gaia and the rest of staff were all very pleasant. Cleaning staff really chirpy and light hearted. La signora Gaia was very efficent and kind hearted to us Aswell as the kind staff. breakfast was lovely, rooms clean and location eccellent - bus outside hotel, and beautiful beach. The room was spacious, and it showed a little bit Eastern (Indian) style, which was great, and a balkon faced to the sea, so I could hear the voice of the waves, when I was sleeping.

The manager/owner Angela went out of her way to make us welcome, completely unfazed by our early arrival (and our very poor Italian), and gave us detailed and excellent local information, and very kindly organised breakfast for us despite our very early ferry on the day of departure. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, particularly the bathroom (unlike many European hotels!). Salina is a beautiful place, and this hotel is extremely charming- it is what small Italian hotels used to be like. If you come to Salina (and you should) Hotel Punta Barone should be your destination of choice.

Very well placed around Piazza San Cristoforo, Canneto, 15 minutes ride from Lipari historical centre, this small boutique hotel it’s placed inside a beautiful typical aeolian house two steps from the beach. Everything it’s clean, quiet and comfortable. Francesca picked us up at the port and brought us to the hotel and back, service included in the rate. Breakfast is very good with an assortment of parties and salty things. The overall experience was super chill and welcoming. Super recommended.
