The room was perfect - had a great view to the lake. The hotel itself is in the good location - everything, including the city center, ferries, other leisure activities as mini golf - were easy to reach. The room was clean, had all the needed utilities.

The breakfast was fantastic! I was especially happy to see not only pastries, but also fresh vegetables, eggs, cold cuts, and a nice variety of fruits. The area is peaceful and the location is great for exploring Menaggio.

The location was great, very close to the main squares with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. It was also close to all transportation, the bus stop was right in front of the hotel and the ferry about 8 min walk. The room was cozy and seemed recently renewed. It was well isolated from external noises but we could hear -although not that loud- noises from other rooms. The breakfast was as any other buffet breakfast with few options but good ones.

An absolute gem! Franco and Lydia are absolutely delightful hosts. Everything about this place screams 'intimate'. I arrived on a wet afternoon, and since the hotel is a bit uphill from the main road, they picked me up. And when I left, they dropped me back. Seeing how I slept in on the day of my checked out, Franco gave me a quick slap on meal before sending me on my way. Lovely, lovely people and absolutely stunning views of the Lake from up high. The pier is a 15 min trek downhill, and there are a bunch of bars and restaurants there too (if you ever plan on leaving the hotel, that is, which is unnecessary) I'm only sad I can't stay longer. If you're ever in Como and need a laid back B'n'B, this is your place

A wonderful place to stay when visiting Varenna. The room was excellent—spacious, clean, and equipped with a washing machine, which is especially convenient for long trips like us when you need to do some laundry. The breakfast was good, and the lady at reception was very kind and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the trail walk down the hill to Varenna town, where I discovered an amazing restaurant. Walking back up trail to the hotel after dinner was an unforgettable experience

A chic and modern boutique hotel at a location just outside of Bellagio, with a spectacular view of Lake Como. Nicely decorated room, very clean and quiet. Though it is not at the town centre, there is a shuttle service running frequently to and from the town centre. So it is not a problem. The hotel arranges additional shuttle service at busy hour too. Just plan your time and reserve the shuttle service. We stayed at a room with a balcony and an unblocked lake view. The 3-day stay has been most enjoyable, I would stay here again rather than staying in the town centre which doesn’t have such an amazing view. The staff has been most friendly. The hotel comes with a pool, an on-site kitchen which provide room service too. You can dine at the outdoor seats, enjoying the meal and the view. The room price is very reasonable as well. Absolutely wonderful experience staying at Borgo Le Terrazze. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Friendly, Welcoming Atmosphere.... The Hidden Gem! Our stay at Hotel La Perla was truly exceptional. From Check-in to - to Check-out our stay was an Absolute Delight. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful, delightful people. A great family run hotel, with the most pleasant Staff ever!!! They just couldn’t do enough to help you, and these attributes made our stay most Comfortable. The atmosphere was cordial and relaxed. Our room was clean with a fabulous view of the lake, with everything you could need. The dinning and surrounding areas were perfectly clean, and nicely decorated. Free parking was a plus. The hotel location is perfect, with a pleasant walk down to the lake, where you have easy access by ferry to visit Varenna, Menaggio, and Bellagio. Nice selection at breakfast, fresh and tasty. Thank you Hotel La Perla Team, for making our stay memeorable, we were very pleased with the service – and the Smiling Staff. We hope to see you again!

    Very nice and clean hotell. Room was clean. Location and views amazing. Staff really nice. Breakfast good. Officially 3 star but have been worst 4 star hotels. Really good price/value. One minor minus lack of heating (weather was really bad 1-2days) but overall experience 6/5.
