The service was excellent and very friendly, the room was nice, we ate at the hotel each night, there was a choice of starters mains and sweets, for a set price depending on how many courses you chose, (very reasonable priced, only €21 for full 3 course plus salad/veg) we had salad all three nights along with either a starter or main, 1st night pasta with venison ragu👍then pork wrapped in parma ham 👌lastly pasta with pesto😁 table wine was nice & very reasonable at €12, also loved the pinot grigio, which is my tipple, along with a few limonchello's and aperell sprites. The bar closed at 10pm but you could sit and enjoying your drinks in the lounge until whenever. We was on motorbikes and there was ample parking space in the garage and loads of fabulous roads /passes to go on, we didn't use the spa as we went out on our bikes, I would definatly recommend this as a place to stay.

We loved absolutely everything about this place! Gasthof Kohlern is located in a beautiful setting with an amazing view of the valley. The owners and the staff are all so welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and the room is very comfortable. We also made the most of the spa, which we had to ourselves most of the time. Highly recommended, top value for money!

Clean, comfortable, beautiful views! The staff were great espacially the Slovak lady. One night we had a dinner and even though we came right before the closing of the kitchen they still served us and it was delicious! The meat platter was amazing!
