We only stayed in the hotel for one night but the room was huge and the bed comfortable! It's located in a great location and lots of restaurants are in easy reach. Staff was really friendly too. Breakfast was also good and plentiful. Would certainly stay in the same place again! It took 30min in a taxi to reach the airport.

Perfect staff, they, helped me with everything wich can be key in a crazy city like ambon. Even let me phone call from a private phone. Bed was great, not to hard, not to soft. Highly recommend

Whenever I'm in Ambon I stay at the City Hotel. All staff members are friendly and professional. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day. And I just love the roof terrace at lantai 7.

We decided to book despite reading some of the negative reviews. The reviews had some truth but we're harsh. The hotel is odd but it kinda adds to its charm. The staff were amazing, helpful and lovely throughout. The thing that really sets the place apart is the rooftop pool bar. Despite other reviews, we found the whole area the nicest rooftop in Ambon, the pool was very clean and we really enjoyed it.
