We're family of four and stayed for a night. Facility was much more modern and new than I expected. Hotel uses card key and elevator is brand new like you see in city buildings. Room was not the biggest but still quite spacious enough. Hotel has its dedicated parking spaces right next to the building. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious and service was kind and warm. Location is close to mart and various stores.

I asked for a quiet room away from the traffic/road and had a lovely room with en suite bathroom. It was winter and lots of snow and I was glad to sleep in a comfortable bed. Hotel staff directed me to the only open restaurant in town that Sunday evening and it was truly good and authentic Sicilian Il Cavallino or something like that. The next morning I could resume my long road trip to Berlin by car.

Clean, tidy, cosy. Really good breakfast, friendly staff. We also had dinner in hotel restaurant, we had schnitzel and soup, both stunning. We will come back for sure, hopefully for longer than this time.

Great staff and great place to stay while in Lindau. Accessible price with great breakfast. Shower was great, as the restaurant tha has the same name of the hotel. If one day I should return to Lindau Insel, would stay again in Engel!
