Lovely clean hotel . The staff were very helpful and polite. Even though I could have taken the free bus to the centre, I walked. The short 10min approx walk is along the lake which is lined with trees and benches. The scenery is amazing!! I would highly recommend this hotel. My room was lovely with a queen bed and balcony with beautiful views of the lake and mountain. 🤗🤗

You simply can’t beat the value for money this hotel offers. The location is unbeatable — right next to the funicular that connects directly to the Lugano main SBB station (and possibly other destinations, though I only used it for the station). There’s also a wide variety of restaurants and shops just steps from the hotel. Despite its compact size, the hotel has a great little gym, and my room — which faced the funicular — was surprisingly quiet. I slept like a baby! If you're a light sleeper, the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs and a welcome chocolate in the room. A really nice touch: I received the Ticino Ticket by email on the day of arrival, giving me free access to most public transportation and discounts at various attractions. But what truly made my stay exceptional was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Thank you all for your kindness, thoughtful touches, and excellent recommendations — you made my visit even more memorable!

    The location of the small hotel was just perfect, right on the edge of the lake. There are a few small bars near the hotel but the hotel has an excellent restaurant, although the restaurant was quite expensive, but maybe just Switzerland prices. The rooms were a tiny bid old fashioned but had character nevertheless.

    Location-Very close to A2 motorway which is perfect en route to Italy from U.K. right on lake in cute small town too. Restaurant-good home style food & excellent wine list. Couple of veggie options. Staff v good. Quaint old building/facilities so if you want new/modern this isn’t for you. Has character.
