Very relaxed reception. At check-in, the lady of the house will sit with you in the beautiful living room of the house with a glass of drink. Delicious breakfast every day with an extensive range of cheeses. The area is fantastic, located in the woods where you can immediately take walks. The rooms are characteristic, just like the rest of the house. Our bedroom also had a lovely bath!

We spent three wonderful nights at Chanteloup. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming - even though they speak only French, they made communication easy and we had no issues at all. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered a tasty and varied selection each morning. Although we spent much of our time exploring the nearby cities, we made sure to relax and enjoy the lovely terrace as well. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would happily return if we’re ever in the area again!

A place with history, with caring and very welcoming hosts. Location is on the river, nice garden with lounge chairs as well as picnic areas near by. Perfect for both, hiking (the routes start next to the door) and chilling. It is not just B&B, it is an experience of the local culture. Breakfast was served with home made and local products.

The lack of reception was actually a huge plus. When we arrived late and could just let ourselves straight into the room without having to deal with anyone. I believe all hotels should be set up like this :)

All of the staff was super friendly. The dogs were allowed in the restaurant, which was great! They always had water bowls for dogs outside on the terrace. When I didn't make a reservation for dinner, they checked to see if I wanted to because they knew everything would be fully booked.
