Truly special place with amazing hospitality and authenticity! We had a wonderful four-day stay in this authentic and peaceful retreat. This was our first location visit in Philippines. If you’re looking for a quiet, remote spot surrounded by nature — this is the perfect choice. The hospitality was exceptional, and the whole place felt warm and welcoming, especially the people of the near by village. The on-site restaurant offers delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the complimentary kayaks are a lovely bonus — perfect for exploring the coastline and taking in the stunning views. This was the ideal place to unwind before heading to more active destinations. Highly recommend to anyone seeking beauty, calm, and a genuine connection with nature.

Set amidst lush greenery, Cauayan Island Resort offers luxurious and peaceful accommodation in El Nido. The resort features an outdoor infinity pool, and a restaurant on site. From the moment your driver picks you up at the airport, to when you step the island and into paradise, you already feel the luxury and comfort. Each and every staff member makes you feel at home, at takes great care of you, remembering names, preferences and checks in regularly. The resort is magnificent, hidden in a secluded bay on a private island, and lives up to its 5-star fame. The restaurant with great menu, the edgeless pool with ocean view, the bar with breathtaking views, they bay to snorkel in, everything adds up to a great stay. The beach view villa is large, with a great kind bed, and direct views on the beach, and has its own indoor and outdoor bathroom area, with a large rain shower. There is a safe, a TV with apps like Netflix etc, and an airconditioning that works great to cool things down for a proper night sleep. While there is no cell reception on the island, they do have fast and good internet via Starlink. From every villa, or resort area you can access the wifi and be connected, if needed. Power is steady as they have their own generators and large solar farm up the mountain. Everything is taken care of: from carying your suitcases from the dock to the villa, the turndown service at sunset, the extra towels at the pool and bay area, a water hose at your front steps to shower off the sand from your slippers, etc. Definitely a 5-start paradise!

Todo en el resort nos encantó, el entorno y el arrecife son espectaculares, la atención del personal exquisita, la comida buenísima y que incluya las excursiones es un plus. My stay at Amari was absolutely AMAZING! Although the hotel wasn’t fully open and some amenities were still unavailable, I still had a fantastic time. The location is perfect for anyone going on tours, as it’s quite close to the beach. The service is top-notch, and the infinity pool is simply beautiful. Everyone was incredibly kind and always willing to help, and the rooms were fully equipped and very comfortable. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which is a great bonus. I believe that once the hotel is fully open, it will be a truly magnificent place, and I hope I get the chance to visit again :)
