At The Funny Lion - El Nido guests are welcome to take advantage of a spa centre. Guests at the accommodation will be able to enjoy activities in and around El Nido, like cycling. In general, the room was clean and well appointed and the food served for breakfast or for room service was great, but what really stood out was how warm and genuinely helpful the staff at Funny Lion were. Ms Val knew all guests by their names and greeted everyone cheerfully every day. Mr Ralph and Ms Zel really went the extra mile when I got injured during one of the tours too. All the other staff have also been helpful and attentive. We really appreciate every bit of our stay here! Will definitely choose Funny Lion again if we come back :)

The hotel is beautiful, of the highest quality, and extremely clean. The infinity pool offers a spectacular view of the magical El Nido, accompanied with delicious cocktails. The 1h head, shoulders and back massage was of high quality and at a reasonable price. The bedroom (Premium Studio) felt like home, with modern, yet local/natural decorations. The included breakfast was also very good. An amazing welcome cocktail is included at your arrival. Basically every transfer is covered by the property, including El Nido- Puerto Princesa, at very competitive price, so you might want to check out their fares before booking anything else.

Guests can enjoy island-hopping or kayaking around the islands of El Nido. Diving activities at 15 different dive sites can be arranged at the Cauayan Activities Center. Guests may also rejuvenate with a pampering massage or wellness treatment at Cauayan Spa. Everything! The food was excellent and the villa extremely comfortable. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The place is paradise and really peaceful.

Everything was so clean & the design just incredible. The staff and the service was perfect - everybody were so nice. I wish I would stay here longer.

• Guests can enjoy observing wildlife on the property or swimming with tropical fishes. Resort activities include hiking, snorkelling and mangrove or cave tours. The resort also has an outdoor pool, a spa and a library. My friend and I spent 4 nights at Lagen. The full experience was great from airport pick up (dedicated counter at airport) to the transfer to the island. The property has a great location; the rooms are well kept, the activities, the food, drinks but most of all the staff absolutely the best. One day we went to the big lagoon, we kayaked out way back to the boat, there were a few other boats, it was windy and there was current, somehow our kayak ended up under the proa of the hotel boat and with the waves we were afraid it would hit us in the head, another boat passed by so close and made more waves which made the situation more difficult, our Lagen guide didn’t hesitate to throw himself to the water to help us! we tried to find him later but this was the day before we checked out. Will anyone in the hotel help us find him? my friend and I are avid travelers, I live in UAE where hospitality has a high standard and to me El Nido Lagen is one of the best hotel I’ve stayed in my whole life! loved everyday of my holiday
