Our stay at this property was absolutely amazing. The place was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the spa with a view was a fantastic bonus. However, the highlight of our stay was Don, the host. He was the best host we’ve ever had—kind, attentive, and always making sure we were okay. Don truly made us feel welcome, like we were at home. We can’t recommend this place enough!

The bathroom was amazing with a wonderful bath and separate shower. We enjoyed using the barbecue and the stunning views across the bay. The pantry and fridge were well stocked with jams, eggs, vogel and chocolate. It was the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in and we were sorry to leave.

The view is wonderful and the hosts so welcoming. We had the best sleep ever and a great hot shower. The apartment is less than 10 minutes drive to the Shorebirds Centre and there is a fantastic fish restaurant on the road beyond the centre, Kaiaua Fisheries.
