Conveniently set in the Thamel district, this hotel provides a terrace, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, an ATM and currency exchange for guests. Shuvatara Suites and Spa exceeds all expectations. First of all, they organized a transfer from the airport (included in the price) and an early check-in which was a blessing after 8 hours of flying and early morning arrival. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning works perfectly, great shower with hot water, nice and soft bedding, plenty of lighting scenarios. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and there are many options for eggs and beverages. The staff were super kind and helpful, always there to answer questions and guide the guests through hotel services. Unfortunately I could not enjoy the spa being very tired, but sauna & jacuzzi available free of charge are definitely a treat. The restaurant and rooms have a breathtaking views as well. The area around the hotel is well-maintained and pretty. I easily found a yoga studio, coworking space, coffee and food spots within 5 minutes walk. So if you are jet lagged like I am, you’ll easily be able to stay within a short radius and not get yourself too tired. I totally recommend to stay here!

Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. 1. From western (US) perspective. 2. Been coming to Katmandu for many years. This hotel is on par with a 3.5 to 4 star. 3. Oh gosh the bed! Is the equivalent to the Westin Heavenly bed. Unbelievable that this type bed is found in a Nepal hotel at this price. 4. Excellent shower and pressure. 5. 2 star amenities but who cares with such an incredible bed and shower :) 6. Did not eat or do anything at the hotel. Staff were great as most hotels in Nepal. 7.Having tried about 6 hotels in Thamel, this is now my go to spot.

Breakfast is available, and includes continental, Asian and vegetarian options. Although situated in the middle of Thamel it is very calm and quiet. The green inner yard enhance the restful feeling. Personal was very freely and helpful and the standard of the room is very nice - the beds are really comfy 😊

The guest house offers a spa and yoga classes for guests to relax during their stay. For guests with children, HOTEL RUPAKOT AND ROOFTOP RESTAURANT provides a baby safety gate. Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the accommodation. Fantastic hotel with superfriendly and welcoming staff. Amazing view from te rooftop terrace, so breakfast there is a must. Also good food available at the restaurant.

At The Terraces Resort and Spa guests are welcome to take advantage of a sauna and a hot tub. You can play billiards and table tennis at this 5-star resort, and the area is popular for hiking and cycling. The views, the ambiance, the food, the service everything was top notch.

A buffet, à la carte or continental breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. At Kantipur Village you will find a restaurant serving Chinese, Indian and Nepalese cuisine. Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. I arrived on the 9th of Sept in Kathmandu and the staff made me feel safe and at home all the time during the protests. I cannot recommend more staying in this hotel specially because of the warmth of the people and the willingness to help (especially since I had to book more nights than originally planned). Additionally, the food is amazing and the rooftop has a great view of the city. The hotel room is clean and spacious. You are the best!

Stayed at Woodapple Hotel and Spa with a group of friends during our Kathmandu trip, and we all seriously liked it! The place has a really cozy, modern vibe, super clean rooms and everything felt newer and well taken care of. One of the best parts? The rooftop. We ended up hanging out there almost every evening, great views of the city and just a really chill atmosphere to relax and chat. Overall, this hotel felt like the perfect base for our group trip, comfortable, safe, and with a good mix of social and relaxing spaces. Would totally stay again if we're ever back in Kathmandu!
